Our Mission to deliver the highest quality of care and well-being is achieved by actively encouraging residents to lead independent lifestyles and maintain close links with the wider community. We create and foster a dynamic environment for staff and residents where an atmosphere of growth and change will be nurtured, and cultural, spiritual and emotional needs respected.
Our Residents’ Committee provides additional support to each resident and plays an important role in the management decisions of the service.
All cuisine is prepared in-house to the highest nutritional standards by our chef. Menus are approved by a registered dietitian and every effort is made to respect cultural and religious requirements.
A Leisure and Lifestyle Activities Program is run daily and includes outings, visiting entertainers, card games, exercise classes, bingo, library visits, social, religious activities and movies.
An activities unit within the grounds of the facility is used for small group leisure activities such as reading groups, cooking demonstrations, Men’s Shed and as a venue for more independent, unsupervised activities such as gardening. The availability of the unit allows residents the opportunity to feel more independent with some residents choosing to use the unit for quiet reflection, reading etc.
